Welcome to Hill-City Relationship Consult ("HRC," "we," "us," or "our"), an initiative operating under Hill City Inspiration House. By accessing our website, booking a consultation, purchasing digital resources, or engaging in any coaching services provided by HRC, you ("Client," "User," or "you") agree to be bound entirely by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must refrain from booking or utilizing our services immediately.
1. Scope of Practice & Non-Clinical Disclaimer
Our coaches operate as relationship coaches, educators, and mentors. They are not licensed medical professionals, clinical social workers, or psychotherapists. Engaging in coaching does not establish a doctor-patient, therapist-client, or clinical health professional relationship. If you require psychological evaluation, treatment for mental illness, trauma therapy, or addiction counseling, you agree to seek the care of a qualified, licensed clinical professional.
2. Emergency & Crisis Intervention Disclaimer
HRC services are strictly non-emergency educational and developmental consultation. We do not provide crisis intervention services. If you are experiencing suicidal thoughts, self-harm impulses, domestic violence, physical danger, or an acute severe mental health crisis, you must immediately call your local emergency services (such as 112, 911, or local emergency response units) or present yourself to the nearest hospital emergency room.
3. Client Responsibility & No Guarantee of Specific Outcomes
Relationship coaching relies heavily on individual agency, personal effort, open communication, and mutual commitment between partners. HRC provides tools, strategic frameworks, and objective insights, but HRC DOES NOT AND CANNOT GUARANTEE SPECIFIC RELATIONAL, MARITAL, PERSONAL, OR FINANCIAL OUTCOMES.
You acknowledge and agree that all decisions, life choices, marriage commitments, relationship terminations, or personal actions taken during or after your coaching sessions are made solely at your own discretion and remain 100% your individual responsibility. HRC, Hill City Inspiration House, and its lead coaches shall not be held liable for any consequences resulting directly or indirectly from decisions you make.
4. Session Conduct, Safety, & Termination Rights
We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for disruptive, hostile, or abusive behavior. You agree to interact with HRC coaches and administrative staff with mutual respect and professionalism. HRC reserves the absolute right to terminate any active session immediately or refuse future service without a refund if:
- The Client displays abusive, profane, harassing, or threatening language or behavior.
- The Client attends a session under the visible influence of alcohol, illicit drugs, or mind-altering substances.
- The Client engages in non-consensual recording of sessions without explicit prior written authorization.
- An irreconcilable conflict of interest or safety concern arises.
5. Intellectual Property
All coaching materials, frameworks, intake forms, workbooks, worksheets, audio/visual content, logos (including the HRC emblem), and website content are the exclusive intellectual property of Hill-City Relationship Consult and Hill City Inspiration House. Purchasing a session or course grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not record, duplicate, distribute, resell, or publicly display HRC materials without written consent.
6. Governing Law, Limitation of Liability, & Dispute Resolution
Governing Law: These Terms shall be governed by, interpreted, and enforced in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, with primary jurisdiction sitting in Oyo State, Nigeria, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Mandatory Informal Negotiation & Mediation: Prior to initiating formal litigation or arbitration, you and HRC agree to attempt in good faith to resolve any claim or dispute informally for a period of at least thirty (30) days following written notice.
Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall HRC, Hill City Inspiration House, its directors, coaches, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of your use of our services. HRC's total cumulative financial liability under any theory of law shall be strictly limited to the total amount paid by the Client to HRC for the specific coaching session or service giving rise to the dispute.
